Getting There

This tour starts and ends in Dar es Salaam.
We can help select your international flights, but you’ll have to book them yourself.
Fly to/from Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR – Check price)
A transfer from and back to the airport is included.
Additional accommodation before and after the tour can be arranged for an extra cost.

Early morning pickup from your hotel or Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR), then drive to Nyerere National Park.

Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive through the park’s diverse ecosystems, including open savannah, riverine forests, and seasonal wetlands. Wildlife commonly encountered includes large elephant herds, buffalo, giraffes, crocodiles, hippos, and a wide range of bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing game viewing in the afternoon.

Late afternoon, depart the park and drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the evening.
